Transition Weekend 

Friday, March 8th - Saturday, March 9th

We are excited to invite you to Riverview School's Transition Weekend Conference. The Transition Weekend Conference is designed to provide families of Riverview students who are 16+ with valuable information, resources and connections on important transition related topics including, Vocational, SSI, Guardianship, Social Emotional and Alumni Parent Perspectives.

Please be sure to fill out the entire registration form carefully. For those students whose parents are attending Transition Weekend Conference programming will be provided on campus both Friday night and Saturday. We strongly encourage families to keep their student(s) on campus on Friday night through the conclusion of the conference on Saturday afternoon. This will allow families to fully focus on and benefit from all that the conference has to offer.


Students will be transported from campus to the DoubleTree at the conclusion of the conference on Saturday. Please note dorms will be closing at 10:00am. Please be sure to make plans to have your students belongings packed and ready on Friday to take with you to the hotel. Students should only keep with them what they will need for Friday night and Saturday Please note that if you opt to take your student with you on Friday night to the hotel and intend for your student to attend programming on campus you will be responsible for getting them to campus on Saturday morning.
